Oatmeal with stewed apple

Delicious oatmeal with stewed apple, pear, and cinnamon. A tasty breakfast for a good start to the day.

Ingredients

  • Oats (50 g)
  • Milk (200 ml, usually soy milk)
  • Apple (1)
  • Pear (1)
  • Cinnamon (1 teaspoon)
  • Coconut sugar or maple syrup (2 teaspoons)
  • Salt (a pinch)

Instructions

Cook the oats in milk for a few minutes. Add a pinch of salt and cinnamon. Meanwhile, cut the pear and apple into cubes. Place them in a pan, add 2 tablespoons of water, 2 teaspoons of coconut sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and stew until the water evaporates. Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl, add the apples and pears, and then decorate. Toasted almond flakes make a perfect addition.
