Ingredients
- flour, 300 g
- ground walnuts, 200 g
- icing sugar, 120 g
- butter, 200 g
- egg, 1
- icing sugar for decoration
Preparation
Knead the dough using the given ingredients: on a pastry board, mix the flour, walnuts, and icing sugar.
Add the butter, cut into cubes, and chop the ingredients with a knife until fine crumbs form. You can also process the ingredients in a stand mixer.
Add the egg and combine the ingredients into a uniform dough, then knead for about 5 minutes, adding a bit of flour to the board if necessary.
Place the dough in the fridge for half an hour (or shape the crescents immediately and then chill them before baking).
Cut the dough into pieces and form them into balls, then shape into crescents.
Arrange on 2 baking trays lined with parchment paper and bake each tray for about 20 minutes at 170°C.
After baking, coat the cookies in icing sugar.
