Ingredients
- Brown sugar – 1.5 scant cups
- Water – 1.75 scant cups
- Cocoa – 0.5 scant cups
- Instant coffee – 1 tablespoon
- Wheat flour – 3 scant cups
- Vinegar – 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil – 0.75 scant cups
- Baking soda – 2 teaspoons
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
Preparation
Peel the pears, leaving the woody stem for decoration. Cut 1 cm off the bottom of each pear to make it stand steadily. Combine all dry ingredients (except sesame seeds) in a bowl. In another bowl, combine water, coffee, olive oil, and vinegar. Then, thoroughly mix the contents of both bowls.
Transfer the batter to a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Press the prepared pears into the batter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for approximately 60 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C.
