Millet Pudding with Peanut Butter and Maple Syrup

Millet pudding is an excellent idea for any occasion. You can prepare this simple dessert quickly, and it will be really delicious.

Ingredients

  • dry millet, 1/2 cup
  • milk (almond or cow), 2 cups
  • peanut butter, 2 tbsp
  • banana, 1
  • pomegranate seeds, 1/2 fruit
  • maple syrup, 2 tbsp

Preparation

Rinse the millet thoroughly in hot tap water using a sieve. Place the rinsed millet in a saucepan, add one cup of milk, cover, and bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for about 15 minutes until the millet absorbs all the liquid.

Add the second cup of milk and peanut butter to the cooked millet, mix, and heat for a short while. Transfer to a blender, add half of the banana, and blend until smooth.

Spoon into bowls, add the remaining banana sliced, and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds. Drizzle with maple syrup.
