Ingredients

For the base

  • Milk: 0.75 cup
  • Sugar: 0.5 cup
  • Vanilla sugar: 2 tablespoons
  • Butter or margarine: 200 grams
  • Milk powder: 3 cups

For the topping

  • Chocolate: 150 grams
  • Milk: 50 milliliters

Additionally

  • Tea biscuits: 200 grams

Preparation

Base: Heat milk (regular) with sugars in a saucepan, stirring, until both sugars dissolve. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool completely. After this time, beat the soft butter until fluffy, and without stopping mixing, gradually combine (*) with the previously prepared sweet milk. Then, in batches (!), add the milk powder. Mix the mass thoroughly until obtaining a uniform consistency and divide it into two parts.

Topping: Melt chocolate with milk/cream in a water bath and let it cool slightly.

Cake: On the bottom of a mold (20×20 cm) lined with baking paper, arrange a layer of tea biscuits, half of the milky mass, biscuits, the rest of the mass, and again biscuits. Finally, evenly cover the top of the cake with the liquid chocolate topping. Place the whole thing in the refrigerator for several hours, preferably overnight.
