Delicious chocolate dessert with a hint of rum.
Ingredients
- Chocolate pudding, 1 piece
- Heavy cream 30%, 3/4 cup
- Powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon
- Instant coffee, 1/2 cup
- Rum, 1 tablespoon
- Dark chocolate, 1/2 piece
- Round sponge fingers, 12 pieces
Preparation
- Grate the chocolate into coarse shavings.
- Prepare the chocolate pudding according to the instructions on the package. Prepare three small bowls. Place one sponge finger soaked in coffee mixed with rum at the bottom of each bowl. Add about 1 tablespoon of pudding on top of the sponge finger, then another soaked sponge finger, followed by another layer of pudding. Cover the entire surface with two more soaked sponge fingers. Sprinkle generously with chocolate shavings.
- Heat the remaining coffee and dissolve the remaining chocolate shavings in it to create a chocolate sauce. Let it cool.
- Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, adding powdered sugar. Pipe the whipped cream onto the top of the dessert (once it’s cold). Drizzle with the chocolate sauce and decorate as desired.
