Brownie with halva

Brownie with halva

This brownie, deeply chocolatey and inspired by sunny Greece with its additional ingredients, is just what you need! Served with ice cream and fresh berry fruits, it transforms into a truly decadent sweet feast.

Ingredients

  • Butter – 200 g
  • Dark chocolate – 200 g
  • Eggs – 3 pieces
  • Sugar – 80 g
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Wheat flour – 120 g
  • Cocoa – 2 tablespoons
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla halva – 100 g
  • Vanilla ice cream – 4 scoops
  • Strawberries – 35 g
  • Raspberries – 35 g
  • Blueberries – 35 g

Preparation

Chop the chocolate into smaller pieces and melt it together with the butter in a water bath. Set aside the melted chocolate mixture to cool. Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy and creamy, adding a pinch of salt towards the end of beating.

Mix the cooled chocolate mixture briefly with the beaten eggs. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Then sift them through a fine-mesh sieve into the chocolate-egg mixture. Gently fold everything together. Chop the halva into fairly thick pieces. Pour the brownie batter into a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle it with halva and bake for about 25 minutes at 160°C.

Once the brownie is ready, let it cool, cut it into pieces, and serve with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries.
