Blueberry-Banana Shake with Chia Seeds

A delicious shake that, when chilled, can also become a dessert – thanks to chia seeds! Use this recipe to prepare a drink that tastes like forest fruits and take it with you to work or school.

Ingredients

  • Bananas – 2 pcs.
  • Blueberries – 250 g
  • Blackberries – 50 g
  • Honey – 1 teaspoon
  • Almond milk – 400 ml
  • Chia seeds – 4 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice – 25 ml
  • Fresh mint – 2 g

Preparation

Combine the almond milk in the blender jar with the blueberries and the banana cut into smaller pieces. Add chia seeds and lemon juice. Blend everything together.

Let the shake sit in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Serve chilled.

Decorate the shake with fresh blackberries and fresh mint leaves.

Optional: Leave the shake in the refrigerator overnight to obtain a thick, gelled dessert.
