Banana Ice Cream

Banana Ice Cream

Vegan ice cream made from bananas. Ice cream can be made with the addition of coffee (natural or grain-based) or plant-based milk, such as almond or coconut. If the ice cream doesn’t need to be vegan, you can also add cow’s milk or natural yogurt.

Ingredients

  • Bananas – 3
  • 50 ml cooled coffee or plant-based milk
  • Optional, for sprinkling: Oat Crumble (bake only the crumble without fruit) or Granola

Preparation

  1. Peel the bananas, slice them, spread them on a plate lined with parchment paper, and put them in the freezer for at least 3 hours.
  2. Put the frozen bananas in the blender container (standing or handheld), add the cooled coffee or milk or yogurt, and blend until smooth, stirring occasionally. At first, the bananas will be hard and difficult to blend, but over time, they will soften, and a “plastic” mass will form.
  3. Serve in bowls, optionally with crumble, granola, fruit sauce, etc.
