Baked Oatmeal a la Apple Pie

Oatmeal perfect for autumn – with apples, nuts, and a wonderful cinnamon aroma. Try the recipe for oatmeal a la apple pie!

Ingredients:

  • Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
  • Red apples – 2 pieces
  • Eggs – 2 pieces
  • Milk – 400 ml
  • Walnuts – 120 g
  • Oats – 220 g
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Maple syrup – 160 g
  • Raspberry – 70 g
  • Strawberry – 70 g

Preparation:

Step 1: Peel and Chop the Apples Peel the apples, remove the cores, and chop them into cubes.

Step 2: Combine the Oatmeal Ingredients In a bowl, combine oats with salt, baking powder, and cinnamon. Mix well. Add eggs, milk, and maple syrup. Mix again.

Add half of the chopped apples, reserve the rest. Add crushed walnuts. Mix and transfer the mixture to a square baking dish. Arrange the remaining chopped apples on top.

Step 3: Bake and Serve the Oatmeal Bake the oatmeal until golden brown (about 40 minutes) in an oven preheated to 200°C.

Once baked, decorate the oatmeal with fresh seasonal fruits, such as raspberries or strawberries.
