Wonderful pouches filled with juicy apples and crunchy crumble. The perfect dessert for a summer afternoon.
Ingredients:
For Serving:
- Powdered sugar – 10 g
- Fresh mint – 2 g
- Plant-based yogurt – 4 tablespoons
Baked Apples:
- Brown sugar – 75 g
- Cinnamon – 2 teaspoons
- Oats – 55 g
- Baking powder – 0.5 teaspoon
- Coconut oil – 110 g
- Wheat flour – 85 g
- Red apple – 4 pieces
Preparation:
Step 1: Hollow Out the Apples Cut the apples in half and hollow out the core using a spoon. Place each apple half on a sheet of aluminum foil. The foil sheet should be wide enough to wrap the apples entirely.
Step 2: Season the Apples Combine cinnamon in a bowl with 3 tablespoons of brown sugar. Mix well and evenly sprinkle the apple flesh with the mixture.
Step 3: Prepare the Vegan Crumble In another bowl, thoroughly mix coconut oil, the remaining amount of sugar, flour, oats, and baking powder. Generously fill the hollowed-out cores with the vegan crumble.
Step 4: Grill or Bake the Apples Wrap the apples with the crumble in aluminum foil and place them on the rack of a preheated grill or on a baking sheet. Grill for about 20 minutes or bake for approximately 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C.
Step 5: Serve the Apples Carefully open the hot apple pouches and transfer them to plates. Dust the top with sifted powdered sugar. Serve with a portion of plant-based yogurt. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
