Ingredients
- 1 apple
- About 10 basil leaves
- About 1 and 1/2 cups birch sap (or clear apple juice)
- 2 – 3 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or agave syrup or sugar to taste
Preparation
- Peel and core the apple, then cut it into pieces. Place the apple pieces in the blender.
- Add basil leaves, birch sap (or apple juice), lime juice, and syrup.
- Blend until smooth, ensuring there are no visible pieces of basil. You can strain the mixture through a sieve if desired.
