Coconut Panna Cotta with an Asian Twist

Ingredients:

  • Gelatin – 3 leaves
  • Coconut milk – 425 ml
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Sugar – 6 tablespoons
  • Lime juice – 3 tablespoons
  • Passion fruit – 2 pieces

Preparation:

Step 1: Prepare the Panna Cotta Soak the gelatin leaves in cold water. Heat the coconut milk with milk and 3 tablespoons of sugar until it simmers. Let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Squeeze the excess water from the gelatin and dissolve it in the hot coconut milk. Rinse the molds with cold water, pour the mixture into them, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Step 2: Prepare the Sugar Syrup Boil 50 ml of water with 3 tablespoons of sugar and lime juice. Cut the passion fruits in half and scoop out the pulp into the sugar syrup. Let it cool down.

Step 3: Serve the Panna Cotta Serve the panna cotta with the sugar syrup, garnished with mint and lime.
