A fantastic smoothie breakfast that gives you a big energy boost. It can also be enjoyed as a mid-day snack or a way to satisfy your hunger throughout the day. You can use frozen strawberries when fresh ones are out of season.

Ingredients

Makes 1 Serving, 595 kcal

  • Oats – 1/2 cup
  • Banana – 1 small
  • Strawberries – 1 cup
  • Honey or Maple Syrup – 1 tablespoon
  • Greek Yogurt – 150 g
  • Milk (cow’s or plant-based, e.g., soy, rice, or coconut) – 150 ml

Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients: Place the oats, milk, Greek yogurt, peeled banana, and hulled strawberries into a blender. Add honey or maple syrup.
  2. Blend: Blend until smooth and creamy.

Tips

  • Frozen Strawberries: If using frozen strawberries, thaw them beforehand. You can do this by placing them in a saucepan over low heat, covered, stirring occasionally until thawed.
