A light, refreshing dessert based on strawberries. An interesting and easy-to-prepare alternative to classic fruit jelly.
Ingredients
- Brown sugar, 80 g
- Vanilla sugar, 1 packet
- Lime juice, 20 ml
- Strawberries, 750 g
- Water, 50 ml
- Gelatin, 18 g
Decoration
- Powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon
- Natural yogurt, 200 ml
- Fresh mint, 2 g
- Chocolate sticks, 30 g
- Raspberries, 70 g
Preparation:
Thaw the frozen strawberries and blend them with a small amount of brown sugar (the amount of sugar depends on the sweetness of the strawberries). Soak the gelatin in water and set it aside to swell. In a saucepan, bring the blended strawberries to a boil with the lime juice and vanilla sugar. Add the soaked gelatin to the strawberries and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Let the mixture cool down. Then pour it into glasses or dessert dishes and refrigerate until set (about 2 hours).
In a bowl, mix the yogurt with the powdered sugar. Pour the yogurt into a siphon, charge it with 2 cartridges, and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Decorate the jelly with frothed yogurt from the siphon or whipped cream, fresh fruits, chocolate sticks, and mint leaves.
