Ingredients
- Egg – 1 piece
- Sugar – 60 g
- Vanilla sugar – 1 packet
- Fresh yeast – 25 g
- Red apple – 200 g
- Butter – 60 g
- Wheat flour – 250 g
- Whole milk (3.2%) – 80 ml

- Rum – 10 ml
- Dried cranberries – 40 g
- Salt – a pinch
Preparation
Melt the butter and set aside to cool slightly. Sift the flour through a sieve into a bowl. Make a well in the flour. Make a sponge with milk, yeast, and sugar, then wait 5-10 minutes until it rises. Add the egg, melted butter, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, and rum. Knead the dough well and set it aside to rise.
Wash the apples thoroughly, remove the cores, and dice them finely.
When the dough rises, add the apples and cranberries, knead again. Divide the dough into small balls (you can use a spoon). Fry in deep fat like traditional doughnuts.
