This cocoa oatmeal is perfect for keeping you full and boosting your metabolism right from the morning. You definitely have to try it!
Ingredients
- Oat flakes, 4 or 5 heaping tablespoons
- Banana, 1 ripe
- Water, 150 ml
- Cocoa, 1 heaping tablespoon
- Cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground
- Cayenne pepper, a pinch
Additionally
- Any seeds, nuts, and fruits of your choice
- Maple syrup
Preparation
In a small saucepan, combine the oats, cocoa, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper—if you feel like giving your metabolism an extra boost. Slice half of the banana into the mixture. You can also mash it with a fork.
Pour water over the ingredients and mix everything thoroughly. Place the saucepan over heat. Once the oatmeal starts to bubble, it’s necessary to stir it frequently—unfortunately, it tends to burn, and you don’t want that.
After about 2-3 minutes of cooking, the cocoa oatmeal will be ready to eat. Serve it with your favorite fruits, seeds, or nuts.
