Maple Cinnamon Oat Clusters

Oat Clusters

Want to use oats in an original way? This simple recipe is perfect for any occasion. Maple Cinnamon Oat Clusters are a great addition to breakfast, but can also be eaten as a snack.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • pinch of salt

Method:

Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the oats, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, ground cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Stir until the oats are evenly coated.

Spread the oat mixture evenly over the prepared baking tray, breaking up any large clumps with your fingers.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the oats are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and leave to cool completely on the baking tray. The oats will become even more crunchy as they cool.

When cooled, break the oatmeal into smaller pieces and store in an airtight container.
