Yogurt Cake

Use the yogurt cup to measure the rest of the ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 small (up to 200 g) cup natural yogurt
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling on top

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Transfer the yogurt to a bowl. Wash and dry the yogurt cup. In another bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder, add sugar, vanilla sugar, and mix well. Add the eggs and oil to the bowl with the yogurt, and mix. Pour into the bowl with the dry ingredients and gently mix until a smooth batter forms. Pour into a 24 cm diameter springform pan or a loaf pan and bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, about 40 minutes (baking time may vary depending on the size of the pan).
