Ingredients
- Brown sugar – 1.5 scant cups
- Water – 1.75 scant cups
- Cocoa powder – 0.5 scant cups
- Instant coffee – 1 tablespoon
- All-purpose flour – 3 scant cups
- Vinegar – 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil – 0.75 scant cups
- Baking soda – 2 teaspoons
- Salt – 1 teaspoon

- Pears – 4
Additionally
- Black sesame seeds – 30 g
Preparation
STEP 1: PREPARE THE PEARS Peel the pears, leaving the woody stem for decoration. Cut off 1 cm from the bottom of each pear to make it stand steadily.
STEP 2: MIX THE INGREDIENTS Combine all dry ingredients (except sesame seeds) in a bowl. In another bowl, combine water, coffee, olive oil, and vinegar. Then thoroughly mix the contents of both bowls.
STEP 3: TRANSFER THE BATTER AND PEARS TO THE PAN Transfer the batter to a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Press the prepared pears into the center. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for about 60 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C.
