A vanilla-strawberry mango smoothie provides a hefty dose of vitamins and exquisite flavor!
Ingredients
Strawberry Layer:
- Strawberries: 1 cup
- Blueberries: 1 cup
- Greek yogurt: 1/2 cup
- Milk: 1/2 cup
- Vanilla bean: 1 pod
- Goji berries: 2 tablespoons
- Honey: 1 tablespoon (optional)
Mango Layer:
- Mango: 1 piece
- Banana: 1 piece
- Greek yogurt: 1/2 cup
- Orange juice: Juice of 1 orange
Preparation
Preparing the Strawberry Layer:
- Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.
- Mix the vanilla seeds with 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt.
- Place all ingredients in a food processor/blender and blend until smooth.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk.
Preparing the Mango Layer:
- Peel the mango and remove the flesh from the seed. Place the flesh in a food processor/blender.
- Add the peeled banana, yogurt, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Blend until smooth.
- Alternate pouring the strawberry and mango layers into glasses to create layers.
