Two-tone blueberry pancakes

Two-tone blueberry pancakes

Fresh fruits, delicate batter, and thick chocolate sauce – a delicious idea for colorful little treats. Children absolutely love it!

Ingredients

Batter

  • Eggs – 2 pieces
  • Cocoa powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Whole milk – 500 ml
  • Rapeseed oil – 4 tablespoons
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Wheat flour – 180 g

Chocolate sauce

  • Milk chocolate – 100 g
  • Milk – 60 ml

Additional

  • Kiwi – 1 piece
  • Fresh mint – 2 tablespoons
  • Blueberries – 50 g

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients except cocoa powder. Divide the batter into two equal parts, add cocoa powder to one part, mix again. Let it rest for 30 minutes. On a medium-heated non-stick pan, pour a pattern with the white batter (you can start with the dark one), cook for a while. Pour the dark batter over it and cook on both sides (do not overcook, the pancakes will be grilled later). Add broken chocolate to the boiling milk. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted. Set the sauce aside to cool.

Place fresh blueberries in the center of each pancake, then seal the ends of the pancakes with the raw batter. Place the pancakes on the grill with the sealed side down. Grill for a few minutes. Place the chocolate sauce on a plate, add a few blueberries, thinly sliced peeled kiwi, and decorate with mint leaves.
