These Sweet ‘n’ Crunchy Pear Nachos offer a unique twist on traditional nachos, using pear wedges as a base and topped with soft ricotta, fresh fruit, toasted cereal or granola and a drizzle of honey for a delicious and healthy snack or dessert.
Ingredients:
- 2 pears, sliced
- 1/2 cup (120g) soft ricotta
- Halved grapes, to serve
- Sliced strawberries, to serve
- Sliced raspberries, to serve
- Toasted cereal or granola, to serve
- Honey, to serve
Method:
Wash and dry the pears. Cut into wedges, removing the core and seeds.
Arrange the pear slices in a single layer, slightly overlapping, on a serving platter or individual plates.
Spoon dollops of smooth ricotta over the pear wedges, spreading them evenly.
Scatter the halved grapes, sliced strawberries and torn raspberries over the ricotta-coated pear wedges.
Sprinkle toasted muesli or granola generously over the fruit and ricotta.
Finally, drizzle honey over the whole dish to ensure it coats the fruit, ricotta and granola.
