Ingredients

Cake:

  • Egg: 4 pieces
  • Cake flour: 1 cup
  • Sugar: 1 cup
  • Potato starch: 1 cup
  • Margarine: 20 dag
  • Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
  • Vanilla sugar: 1 packet
  • Food coloring for cakes: 1 pinch

Icing:

  • Egg white: 1 piece
  • Powdered sugar: 1 cup

Additionally:

  • Colored sprinkles: 2 pinches

Preparation

1. Cake: Cream margarine with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Gradually add one egg at a time and beat thoroughly. Add both flours and baking powder, beat. Divide the dough into two parts, add food coloring to one and mix well.

2. Baking: Grease the bundt cake pan with margarine and dust with breadcrumbs. Transfer the dough to the bundt cake pan, alternating between plain and colored dough, swirl with a toothpick to create patterns. Bake the cake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 50 minutes until golden brown. Check with a toothpick for doneness and let it cool slightly. Remove the lukewarm cake from the pan.

3. Icing: Beat egg white with powdered sugar (add powdered sugar gradually). The icing should not be too thick or too runny. Transfer the icing to a pastry bag.

4. Decoration: Decorate the cooled cake with icing and sprinkles.
