Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour, 120g
  • Dark chocolate, 100g
  • Sugar, 100g
  • Butter, 80g
  • Eggs, 3
  • Raspberry jam, 60g
  • Rum, 30ml
  • Baking soda, 3.5g
  • Salt, 1.5g

Preparation

In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate and stir. Allow it to cool slightly. Slowly add rum and jam to the melted chocolate and mix. In a small bowl, crack the eggs, beat them with a fork, and then add them to the chocolate mixture in the saucepan. Add flour, baking soda, sugar, and salt to a round, heatproof dish, then mix everything together. Add the contents of the saucepan to the dry ingredients, then mix everything together. The resulting batter should be smooth and uniform.

Place the heatproof dish with the batter into the microwave, then set it to high power and bake for 4-5 minutes. After the designated time, perform a toothpick test to check if the cake is baked through. If the cake is slightly raw in the middle, you can microwave it for another minute. After baking, allow the cake to cool.

Once the brownie-style cake has cooled, you can proceed to slice and optionally decorate it. Creams, whipped cream, white chocolate, and fresh fruits all pair well with it.
