Mini Pancakes

Mini Pancakes

Served with maple syrup, powdered sugar, butter, jam, strawberries, or sweet cream. They can be cooked on a dry pan lightly greased with butter, or in a larger amount of butter/oil like traditional pancakes or fritters.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 125 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter + extra for greasing the pan

Preparation:

Beat the egg in a bowl, then add the flour mixed with baking powder, salt, milk, and melted butter. Mix briefly until you have a smooth batter.

Heat a frying pan and grease it lightly with butter. Use a spoon to pour the batter, forming flat circles about 5-6 cm in diameter.

Flip the pancakes when bubbles appear on the surface and the bottom is golden brown. Cook on the other side until golden.

Enjoy your mini pancakes hot off the pan!
