With a crispy Oreo crust and a rich ice cream filling drizzled with chocolate syrup, it’s a chocolate lover’s dream. This frozen treat is a simple yet indulgent end to any meal.
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
- 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar (optional)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 4 cups chocolate chip or coffee ice cream, softened
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
- Additional Oreo cookies to garnish (optional)
Method:
In a bowl, mix together the Oreo cookie crumbs and sugar, if using. Add the melted butter and stir until well combined.
Press the crumb mixture into the base and up the sides of a 9-inch cake tin to form a crust. Freeze until firm, about 30 minutes.
Spread the softened ice cream over the frozen crust, smoothing it into an even layer.
Drizzle the chocolate syrup over the ice cream.
If desired, crush additional Oreo cookies and sprinkle over the top for extra crunch.
Cover and freeze until firm, at least 4 hours or overnight.
