Ingredients
- French pastry dough: 375 g
- Strawberries: 100 g
- Sugar: 30 g
- Egg: 1
- Milk: 50 ml
- Peach puree: 100 g
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Remove the stems from the strawberries and chop them into cubes. Transfer them to a pan along with the peach puree and sugar. Heat the ingredients for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once the filling thickens to the desired consistency, remove it from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
Cut the pastry dough into even squares. Place a portion of the filling on half of each square, fold the square in half, and seal the edges by pressing them with a fork. Make several small cuts across each cookie.
Beat the egg in a bowl and mix it with the milk. Transfer the prepared cookies to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush them with the beaten egg. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until they turn golden brown.
