Homemade energetic bars, perfect to take to work or give to your child for school!
Ingredients
- Sugar – 50 g
- Butter – 30 g
- Honey – 100 g
- Hazelnuts – 50 g
- Oat flakes – 50 g
- Dried cranberries – 50 g
- Dried apricots – 50 g
- Spelt flakes – 50 g
- Puffed amaranth – 50 g
- White sesame seeds – 30 g
Preparation
Step 1: Chopping Cranberries, Nuts, and Apricots
Combine marinade ingredients. Chop cranberries, nuts, and apricots, add the remaining dry ingredients. Mix everything together.
Step 2: Boil Sugar with Honey
Pour sugar into a saucepan, add honey and bring to a boil. Cook for about 2 minutes over low heat. Add butter and mix well. Pour into the remaining ingredients, mix and set aside for several minutes. Transfer to parchment paper. Shape into a rectangle about 24 x 12 cm. Cover with another piece of paper and gently flatten with a rolling pin. Allow to cool.
Step 3: Cut the Mixture into Strips
Once the mixture is cold and firm, cut it into strips about 2 cm wide.
