These cookies look amazing! If you always serve cookies to your guests, they will all love them. They are a favourite treat for children and adults alike.
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of regular size Devil’s Food cake mix
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Method:
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the devil’s food cake mix, eggs, softened butter and water. Mix until well combined and the mixture forms a dough.
Fold in the mini semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking trays, about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are set and the tops are slightly cracked.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Once cooled, enjoy these Devil’s Food Cookies with a glass of milk or pack them for a delicious treat on the go.
