Coconut Panna Cotta in Asian Style

Ingredients:

  • Gelatin – 3 sheets
  • Coconut milk – 425 ml
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Sugar – 6 tbsp
  • Lime juice – 3 tbsp
  • Passion fruit – 2

Preparation:

Step 1: Prepare the Panna Cotta

  1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water until soft.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, milk, and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Heat until it comes to a boil, then simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the softened gelatin from the water, squeeze out excess water, and dissolve it in the hot coconut milk mixture.
  4. Rinse molds with cold water, then pour the mixture into the molds. Place in the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours.

Step 2: Prepare the Sugar Syrup

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 50 ml of water, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and the lime juice to a boil.
  2. Cut the passion fruits in half, scoop out the pulp, and add it to the sugar syrup. Allow the mixture to cool.

Step 3: Serve the Panna Cotta

  1. To serve, unmold the panna cotta onto plates.
  2. Spoon the passion fruit syrup over the panna cotta.
  3. Garnish with fresh mint and lime slices.
