Clover Leaf Cocktail

This cocktail is a delightful twist on the traditional gin and sour, enhanced with the luxurious touch of Chambord and the freshness of mint. It’s a drink that whispers of speakeasies and timeless elegance, a nod to the days when cocktails were not just drinks, but symbols of style and savoir-faire.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 ounce Chambord liqueur or pomegranate grenadine
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce pasteurised egg whites or 1/2 ounce half-and-half
    • 1/2 ounces gin
  • Garnish: Fresh mint leaf

Method:

In a cocktail shaker, combine the Chambord (or Pomegranate Grenadine), fresh lemon juice, pasteurised egg whites (or half-and-half) and gin.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Gently squeeze the mint leaf between your hands to release the oils and garnish the cocktail.
