Enter the decadent world of Chocolate Pizza. A playful twist on a classic favourite, this sweet treat combines the richness of chocolate with the fun of pizza making. Topped with a medley of marshmallows, nuts and cherries, each slice is a celebration of textures and flavours.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups vanilla or white chips, divided
- 2 cups semi- sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup crunchy rice cereal
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup halved maraschino cherries, dabbed dry
- 1/4 cup sweetened desiccated coconut
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
Method:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups of the vanilla chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir. Continue to microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each microwave until smooth.
Add the marshmallows, rice crispies and walnuts to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
Pour the mixture into a greased 12-inch pizza tin, spreading it out to form a circle.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 1/2 cups of vanilla chips, maraschino cherries and coconut over the top.
Drizzle with canola oil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes or until lightly toasted.
Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
