Ingredients
Custard
- Sugar – 55 g
- Dark Chocolate – 100 g
- Egg Yolk – 1
- Cornstarch – 2 tablespoons
- Milk – 300 ml
- Cream (30%) – 100 ml
- Baileys – 50 ml
For Serving
- Sugar – 5 g
- Dark Chocolate – 20 g
- Cocoa Powder – 1 tablespoon
- Cream (30%) – 100 ml
Preparation
Prepare two bowls: in one, combine sugar with cornstarch, in the other, mix egg yolk with cream. Sift sugar with cornstarch into a saucepan, pour in the milk, and stir until combined. Add the egg mixture, stir again.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture starts to boil and thicken. Remove from heat, add chopped chocolate and liqueur. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
Pour the custard into bowls, let it cool. Whip the cream with sugar. Dust the custard with a little cocoa powder, decorate with whipped cream, and sprinkle with grated chocolate.
