Chocolate-Coffee Syrup

A thick, sweet, and incredibly aromatic syrup that will enhance the flavor of many desserts. It’s quick and easy to prepare!

Ingredients:

  • Sugar – 500 g
  • Vanilla sugar – 2 packets
  • Dark chocolate – 125 g
  • Cocoa powder – 50 g
  • Coffee beans – 25 g

Preparation:

Step 1: Boil the Sugar and Coffee Combine the sugar, vanilla sugar, and coffee beans in a high pot. Add 500 ml of water and slowly bring to a boil. Once boiling, simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 2: Melt the Chocolate Chop the dark chocolate. Remove the syrup from the heat and melt the chocolate in the hot syrup. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

Step 3: Add Cocoa Powder Bring the mixture back to a boil, add the cocoa powder, and stir thoroughly. Continue to cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 4: Strain and Bottle the Syrup Strain the syrup through a sieve and pour it into clean bottles (100 ml each) that have been rinsed with hot water. Seal and let cool. Store opened bottles in the refrigerator and use within a short period.

This syrup is perfect for ice cream, waffles, desserts, and coffee.
