There are some desserts that everyone likes. Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites are one of them. The recipe is quick and easy to make and they’re sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas, peeled and cut into rounds
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (dark, milk or semi-sweet)
- optional toppings: chopped nuts, shredded coconut, sprinkles
Method:
Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Spread a small amount of peanut butter on each banana slice.
Place another banana slice on top to make a ‘sandwich’.
In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the chocolate chips for 30 seconds, stirring occasionally, until smooth and melted.
Dip each banana ‘sandwich’ halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
Place the chocolate coated banana bites on the prepared baking tray.
Sprinkle with toppings if desired.
Place the baking tray in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
Once set, serve and enjoy!
