Do you like desserts that can be served on any occasion or even taken to work as a sweet snack? This recipe is easy on the wallet and the result is exceptionally tasty.
Ingredients:
- 1 yellow cake mix (normal size)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 1 cup white baking chips
- 1/3 cup jimmies (sprinkles)
Method:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and set aside a 13×9 inch baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, egg, milk and canola oil. Whisk until well combined and smooth.
Fold in the white baking chips and jimmies until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared baking tin, using a spatula to smooth the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Remove the pan from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely on a wire rack.
When cooled, cut the bars into squares or rectangles of your choice.
