An easy-to-make, delicious pastry made with puff pastry and apples. Cinnamon gives it a unique flavor.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry – 2 sheets
- Sugar – 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon – a pinch
- Red apple – 5 pieces
- Egg – 1 piece
- Butter – 1 tablespoon
Preparation
Wash and peel the apples, then quarter them, remove the seeds, and slice them. Unroll the sheets of puff pastry, and using a knife, divide each sheet into 6 equal parts. Thoroughly grease tartlet molds with butter and line the inside with the pastry, gently pressing with fingers, then remove any excess pastry protruding from the molds. Place the prepared molds in the freezer for 10 minutes. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white. Beat the egg white with a fork and brush it over the pastry. Fill the tartlets with apple slices, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top, and place them in an oven preheated to 220°C for about 20 minutes.
