Quick to prepare and delicious frozen bites with matcha and mango flavor. Check out how easy they are to make and enjoy homemade ice cream inspired by Asian flavors.

Ingredients

  • Coconut milk, 400 ml
  • Maple syrup, 2 teaspoons
  • Lime, 1
  • Matcha green tea, 1 teaspoon
  • Water, 2 tablespoons
  • Mango slices, 4
  • White sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon

Preparation:

Sift matcha through a fine-mesh sieve. Pour warm water over the tea and mix thoroughly with a brush until fully combined.

Shake or stir the coconut milk well and divide it equally into two bowls. Add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup to each bowl. Pour the prepared matcha into one of the bowls and zest the lime. Mix the contents of both bowls again.

Line a baking tray with plastic wrap. Pour the white coconut milk layer on the bottom. Then, pour the green matcha mixture, creating abstract patterns.

Cut the canned mango slices into fairly narrow strips. Arrange them on top of the coconut milk.

Sprinkle the entire surface with sesame seeds and freeze for at least 3 hours. Break the frozen mass into smaller pieces, transfer to a container, and store in the freezer.
