Ingredients

  • Rolled Oats – 4 tablespoons
  • Cashews – 2 tablespoons
  • Hot Water – ~1/2 cup
  • Banana – 1
  • Raspberries (or Strawberries) – 1 cup
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 1 or 2 tablespoons (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oats and Nuts: Place the rolled oats and cashews into a blender. Pour hot water over them and let it sit for a few minutes to allow the oats to soften and the cashews to begin to soften.
  2. Add Ingredients: Add the peeled banana, raspberries (or strawberries), milk, and sugar to the blender.
  3. Blend: Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  4. Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
