Fruit Oatmeal

Fruit Oatmeal

Delicious, refreshing oatmeal packed with vitamins, and elegantly presented on the table.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 grated apples
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon almonds
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 1 tablespoon nuts
  • A handful of seasonal fruits such as raspberries, blueberries, strawberries
  • A large pinch of cinnamon
  • 100 ml plain yogurt

Preparation

  1. An hour before (or the night before, if you plan to eat the oatmeal for breakfast), soak the oats in water.
  2. Peel and grate the apples using a grater with large holes. Chop the nuts and almonds.
  3. Transfer the soaked oats to a saucepan, add milk, and cook over low heat.
  4. Once it starts boiling, add grated apples, chopped nuts, almonds, raisins, and cinnamon.
  5. Cook the oatmeal for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve with a spoonful of yogurt, fresh fruits, and drizzle with honey.
