Delicious, refreshing oatmeal packed with vitamins, and elegantly presented on the table.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 grated apples
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon almonds
- 1 tablespoon raisins
- 1 tablespoon nuts
- A handful of seasonal fruits such as raspberries, blueberries, strawberries
- A large pinch of cinnamon
- 100 ml plain yogurt
Preparation
- An hour before (or the night before, if you plan to eat the oatmeal for breakfast), soak the oats in water.
- Peel and grate the apples using a grater with large holes. Chop the nuts and almonds.
- Transfer the soaked oats to a saucepan, add milk, and cook over low heat.
- Once it starts boiling, add grated apples, chopped nuts, almonds, raisins, and cinnamon.
- Cook the oatmeal for another 5 minutes.
- Serve with a spoonful of yogurt, fresh fruits, and drizzle with honey.
