Ingredients:
- Cinnamon – 0.33 tsp
- Peanut butter – 360 g
- Honey cereal rings – 140 g
- Chocolate cereal balls – 140 g
- Salt – 0.33 tsp
- Maple syrup – 100 g
For Decoration:
- White chocolate – 100 g
- Dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher) – 100 g
- Colored sprinkles – 4 tbsp
Preparation:
Step 1: Melting Peanut Butter with Additions
- In a saucepan, melt the peanut butter, add the maple syrup, and a pinch of salt.
Step 2: Mixing Cereals with Peanut Butter
- Place the honey cereal rings in one bowl and the chocolate cereal balls in another bowl. Add cinnamon to the chocolate cereal bowl. Divide the peanut butter mixture in half and pour each half into the respective cereal bowls. Mix the contents of both bowls thoroughly.
Step 3: Pouring and Chilling the Mixture
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Pour one cereal mixture into the bottom of the pan and spread it evenly. Place straws or sticks at intervals of 4 cm (1.5 inches) on top of the mixture and press them slightly. Pour the second cereal mixture over the sticks, spreading it evenly. Let the mixture set in the refrigerator for at least one hour, or until firm. Once set, use a sharp knife to cut the mixture into shapes resembling ice cream bars.
Step 4: Preparing the Chocolate Coating
- Melt the white chocolate and dark chocolate separately in a double boiler. Pour the melted chocolates into tall glasses and dip the prepared ice cream bars into the chocolate. Decorate with colorful sprinkles.
