Ingredients
- Puff pastry: 300 grams
- Apples: 2 large
- Ground cinnamon: 1 heaping tablespoon
- Lemon: 1/2
- Pure honey: 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla sugar: 1 teaspoon
- Butter: 1 teaspoon
- Egg yolk: 1
Preparation
- Peel and cut the apples into medium-sized cubes. Sprinkle with lemon juice from half a lemon.
- Add cinnamon, vanilla sugar, and a teaspoon of butter, then stew the apples for about 5 minutes. Add honey and mix well to combine with the apples.
- Cut the puff pastry into rectangles. Place the stewed apples on one half, then make cuts on the other half with a knife. Cover the apple-filled part with the cut pastry, and seal the edges.
- Brush the pastry with egg yolk. Place in a preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius with convection.
