Apple Pie Bites are a delicious twist on the classic dessert. This recipe transforms traditional apple pie into bite-sized treats perfect for snacking or sharing. Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 sheets chilled pie crust
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted and divided
- 2 medium tart apples
- caramel sauce, optional
Method:
Preheat the oven to 450°. Spray a mini muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Cut each sheet of pie crust into 8 equal slices.
Place a piece of apple on each slice and roll into a croissant.
Arrange the apple croissants on a baking tray.
