Creamy Halva Pudding Cream for Cakes and Tortes

This cream is delicious and perfect for filling cakes, tortes, and other sweets. It holds its shape well, making it great for decoration too.

Ingredients

  • Milk: 750 milliliters
  • Egg yolks: 2 pieces
  • Vanilla pudding mix: 2 packages
  • Butter (82% fat): 200 grams
  • Halva: 300 grams

Preparation

  1. Pour a bit of the 750 ml milk into a bowl and mix the pudding with the egg yolks.
  2. Bring the remaining milk to a boil and then combine it with the pudding-yolk mixture. Stir until thickened and the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Remove the pudding from the heat, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it cool completely.
  4. Soften (!) the butter until creamy and gradually mix it with the cooled pudding.
  5. Finally, thoroughly mix the cream with the previously crumbled (*) halva.
