Ingredients

  • Mascarpone cheese – 80 grams
  • Cherries – 400 grams
  • Egg – 1 piece
  • Flour – 2 tablespoons
  • Powdered sugar – for dusting
  • Milk – 1 tablespoon
  • Baking powder – a pinch
  • Cinnamon – 1/5 teaspoon
  • Cooking oil

Preparation

  1. Wash and dry the cherries. Do not remove the pits or stems from the fruit. Transfer the cheese, egg, milk, baking powder, and flour to a saucepan. Mix everything thoroughly. The batter should have the consistency of thick cream.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan or saucepan. Dip the prepared cherries one by one into the batter.
  3. Then place them in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown.
  4. Once done, remove and drain any excess oil. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
