Sweet treats for kids or a delightful gift for adults.
Ingredients
- 200 g white chocolate
- About 3/4 cup dried cranberries
- For decoration (optional): white icing
Preparation
- Melt the chocolate, being careful not to let any water get inside, and ensuring that the heating temperature is not too high. Mix in the cranberries (leave about 2 – 3 tablespoons for the top).
- Line a mold (any heatproof, metal one) with transparent foil, with dimensions around 17 cm x 17 cm. Spread the mixture, level the surface, and sprinkle the reserved cranberries on top. Decorate with icing if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes. Cut into small pieces or larger bars.
Tips
- You can also use dark or milk chocolate for the bars, and replace the cranberries with your favorite toppings: almonds, pistachios, coconut flakes, dried fruits, raisins, hazelnuts, candied orange peel, dried plums, or even crumbled gingerbread cookies. For 200 g of chocolate, use about 2/3 cup of additional toppings.
- You can skip the icing decoration or make it from melted chocolate instead.
