Vanilla-Raspberry Smoothie with Basil

Intensely raspberry, this elegant dessert with ice cream and a hint of red wine will delight you and your guests!

Ingredients

Smoothie:

  • Fresh basil – 5 g
  • Whole milk (3.2%) – 200 ml
  • Vanilla ice cream – 200 g

Raspberry Sauce:

  • Sugar – 50 g
  • Raspberries – 150 g
  • Potato starch – 1 tablespoon
  • Red wine – 50 ml

Preparation

Raspberry Sauce: Cook raspberries with sugar. Once they start boiling, add wine mixed with potato starch. Stir vigorously (similar to preparing jelly).

Vanilla-Basil Smoothie: Blend all the smoothie ingredients together.

Serving: Pour the hot raspberry sauce into the bottom of a glass, then pour the vanilla-basil smoothie on top (you can also add a scoop of vanilla ice cream). Garnish with fresh basil leaves and raspberries.
