Vanilla Pancakes

A traditional recipe for delicious pancakes with honey and vanilla.

Ingredients

  • Eggs: 4 pieces
  • Milk: 2 cups
  • All-purpose flour: 2 cups
  • Oil: 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
  • Sugar: 3 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: a pinch
  • Honey

Preparation

  1. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Beat the egg yolks with sugar until pale and fluffy.
  2. Then add the oil and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine with milk and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the sifted flour mixed with baking powder to the milk mixture, then mix again.
  5. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Gently fold them into the batter.
  6. Pour small portions of the batter onto a hot pan without fat and cook until golden brown on both sides.
