Three Flavors Dessert

Three Flavors Dessert

The „Three Flavors” dessert combines orange jelly with pieces of oranges, creamy pudding, and plum jelly. The whole dessert is prepared in a less calorific version based on xylitol.

Ingredients

Orange jelly

  • Orange: 1 piece
  • Lemon jelly: 1 packet
  • Xylitol: 2 tablespoons
  • Water: 400 milliliters

Creamy pudding

  • Vanilla pudding: 1 packet
  • Xylitol: 2 tablespoons
  • Milk: 400 milliliters

Plum jelly

  • Plums: 500 grams
  • Juice from half a lemon: 1 piece
  • Xylitol: 100 grams
  • Water: 125 milliliters
  • Cornstarch: 1.5 teaspoons
  • Powdered gelatin: 1.5 teaspoons

Instructions

Step 1: Boil water and measure out 400 milliliters. Pour the contents of the lemon jelly packet into the hot water, add xylitol, mix well, and let it cool. Cut the orange into smaller pieces, place them in glasses or bowls, pour the cooled jelly over them, and refrigerate until set.

Step 2: Take a quarter cup of the 400 milliliters of cold milk, pour it into a separate container, add the contents of the vanilla pudding packet, add 2 tablespoons of xylitol, and mix well. Bring the rest of the milk to a boil, and when it boils, pour in the contents of the cup and mix until thickened. Let the pudding cool, then spread it over the set jelly. Return to the refrigerator until slightly set.

Step 3: Remove the pits from the plums, chop them into smaller pieces, and transfer to a saucepan. Add 2/5 cup of water, lemon juice, and xylitol to the fruits and cook for a while depending on the desired smoothness of the jelly. Dissolve the gelatin and cornstarch in the remaining cold water, add to the saucepan, and mix. Let the jelly cool, then spread it over the slightly set pudding (about 1.5 tablespoons per serving).
